Build A Niche Store Product Review

This article is a review of the "Build A Niche Store" product.
I give it 4 out of 5 Stars

There are typically about 10 million items for sale on eBay at any point in time. Each of these items are sorted by the seller/eBay into categories, sub-categories, and even sub-sub-categories. These sub categories are known as 'Niches". A niche is just a very specific group of people you are targeting to sell to.

So, thanks to eBay, they've basically already done the research for you. You don't have to spend hours online searching keywords, keyword popularity and the rest of the usual tedious work to find a niche.

On to the product...

Now, imagine having a website that lists all of the live auctions in that niche. That by itself doesn't sound that impressive... till you realize that eBay will pay you a percentage of every product bought by a person that visited your website. Now you can get excited. EBay is willing to pay you a percentage because you essentially helped to make that sale. Think of it as a finder's fee.

That's basically the concept behind "Build A Niche Store".

What I like about B.A.N.S. is that everything is automated for you. You fill in a few boxes of information and their software builds your niche website with all of the products on eBay you specified, ready to go. Setting it up takes maybe 10 or 20 minutes. Pretty simple.

My Experiences - The Good

The first Build A Niche Store website I built focused on dog supplies. It took me a little over 20 minutes to put together my first one. The second niche site was about ebooks. This one only took 15 minutes to get up and running.

Since I started, (a little over four months ago), I have created seventeen Build A Niche stores. Some perform better than others but on average, I would say each site now pulls in about $100-$150 month. That may not sound like much but when you figure $150 per month x 17 sites = $2,550 per month... you start to see the potential.

Not to mention, these sites really don't require any further attention once they're set up.

My Experiences - The Bad

I did give this 4 out of 5 stars, instead of 5 out of 5 stars for a reason. That final star was not given because I would like to see more advanced options. The Build A Niche Store is very user friendly and can be successfully created by anyone... but I have made seventeen sites now. I'm no longer a beginner and would like to have more control and be able to "tweak" my sites a bit more.

I'm in the process of learning how to program html so I hope to be able to work on the source code myself in the future. But for now, I can't complain too much as I am making money and I really haven't done too much more work on each site aside from the initial set up.
